WALTER is here! After a WALTER confrontation with Malcolm Bivens ended with Roderick Strong saying that he is not afraid of WALTER, WWE has announced that these two individuals will meet one-on-one on the January 18 episode of WWE NXT 2.0 From WWE: Roderick Strong isn’t scared of WALTER, but maybe he should be. The Ring General has come to NXT 2.0 and he didn’t take too kindly to Malcom Bivens’ remarks on Imperium, nearly tearing apart the manager of Diamond Mine until his prize fighter stepped in to intercede. The imposing WALTER stared daggers at Strong, but the former Cruiserweight Champion did not back down leading to a main event showdown between the two titans. Can Strong overpower the much larger WALTER or will the Ring General send a powerful message to the rest of the locker room in his debut singles match on NXT 2.0? Catch all the action Tuesday night on NXT 2.0 at 8/7 C on USA. Also set for the next episode of WWE NXT 2.0, Tony D’Angelo, who successfully won a Crowbar on a Pole match last week, will host “a memorial” for his appointment last week, Pete Dunne. From WWE: WWE Universe, Tony D’Angelo cordially invites you to Pete Dunne’s memorial service Tuesday night on NXT 2.0. The BruiserWeight enjoyed a successful career in NXT before challenging D’Angelo to a Crowbar on a Pole Match this past Tuesday. Dunne put up a good fight in a punishing clash with “The Made Man of NXT” but was ultimately whacked when D’Angelo cracked the crowbar across the head of Dunne. Join D’Angelo in remembrance of the former UK Champion this Tuesday on NXT 2.0 at 8/7 C on USA Here is the announcer card so far: WWE NXT 2.0 – January 18 – WALTER vs. Roderick Strong – Tony D’Angelo hosts a memorial for Pete Dunne Fightful has live coverage of WWE NXT 2.0 as it airs on the USA Network, beginning every Tuesday at 8 p.m. eastern time.

At the center of author Naima Coster’s novel What’s Mine & Yours are two struggling mothers. Jade is a Black single mother who is trying to provide a better life for her son, and Lacey May is a white mother who is trying to give her daughters the life she never had. Their stories will intertwine over decades, starting with when Lacey May opposes the integration of her daughters’ school – the same school Jade is trying to get her son into. Coster told NPR’s Audie Cornish that fiction gives us a window into other people’s lives but that does not mean we have to condone their actions.

UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas and former champ Carla Esparza are expected to meet for a second time at UFC 274 on May 7. Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso was the first to report the news of the match-up being in the works via a tweet, although the promotion themselves have yet to confirm anything regarding the booking. Esparza won the pair’s initial meeting back at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in December 2014, where she defeated Namajunas via a third-round submission due to a rear-naked choke to become the inaugural UFC women’s strawweight champion. The 34-year old Torrance, California native currently is on a five-fight winning streak and is coming off of a second-round TKO victory over Yan Xiaonan at UFC Vegas 27. Namajunas meanwhile is 6-1 in her last seven Octagon outings and will try to build on a split-decision win over former UFC strawweight champion, Zhang Weili, in their rematch back at UFC 268.
